The Mission of Our Lady of the Angels Marathon team, consisting of 100 volunteer runners with a goal of raising funds for the Mission, have raised over $210,000 this year so far and $1,100,000 since 2011. Franciscan Sister Stephanie Baliga made national news last year by setting a new world record for a woman running a marathon on a treadmill when last years marathon was canceled do to the pandemic.
